1. PHOENIX – At least two people are waking up to find themselves millions of dollars richer. The holders of a ticket sold in Idaho and another in Washington state will be sharing Mega Millions’ $355 million jackpot from Tuesday night’s drawing, lottery officials said Wednesday.
The prize is the fourth-largest in U.S. history and the second-largest in Mega Millions’ history.


2. Jonathon Gabriel McCurry is 2011’s first newborn at Provena St. Mary’s Hospital. He checked into the world just after 3 am Tuesday. He tipped the scale at 7 pounds, 2 ounces. Jonathon is the 4th baby for James & Amy McCurry of Bradley.

3. Bourbonnais interim-Police Chief Greg Kunce says his department is working with the State Police reconstruction team in trying to find out what happened in Monday’s bus accident that killed Thomas Dunn Jr. The 46-yr-old veteran auxiliary police officer died after he was hit by a River Valley Metro Mass Transit bus at Route 45 and John Casey Road. Dunn reportedly was hit by the bus after he pushed a child out of the path of the bus.
